Vehicle Parking
Campus Safety monitors campus parking lots 24 hours per day and enforces the rules for vehicles on the university property. Should you receive a parking ticket, you have the option to pay the fine or appeal the ticket. If you are a visitor, please refer to the instructions on the back of your parking ticket.
Parking Permits
Stick your parking permit on the inside of your windshield in the lower left corner, driver's side. Make sure that the permit is visible from the outside and that the bar code is scanable. The permit is a removable sticker and will re-stick up to a thousand times. Please return it to Campus Safety when it is no longer needed.
Color-Coded Lots
Please pay close attention to the changes on the parking map. New permits/colors have been added and parking lots have been assigned appropriately. New parking lot signage has also been placed on campus for your convenience.- Gold – Faculty and Staff
- Grey – Guests
- Yellow – Southern Lights Volunteers
- Purple – Thatcher Hall Residents
- Green – Talge Hall Residents
- Red – On Campus Apartment Housing
- Blue – Commuter
Please stay in your appropriate lots. There are not enough parking spaces if people drive between classes. After you have found a parking space, please walk to your appointments on campus.
